Here Are Our Get Repped Now 2024 Considers

We were overwhelmed with entries this year and a surprising amount of near misses that may only be a draft or two away. But in the end, eight scripts were undeniable.

What did they get right?

Each showed a strong and distinctive writing voice as well as a command of the genre they were writing. Incredibly, we had three strong horror scripts this year (two features and a pilot) which is a rarity. We also had a moving drama, two crackling actioners, a nail-biting gambling thriller, and a ridiculous (in the best way) animated pilot that looks at racism through a very interesting lens.

What is next?

We’ve already reached out to our manager panel and everyone is excited to read. The timing seems to be very good for specs right now. We hope to bring you some good news very soon. In the meantime, let’s all pull for these eight talented writers.

And if your script wasn’t a consider this year, we feel you. Just remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. And 20+ drafts is not unusual to get something into the end zone.

Keep the faith, keep writing, and, of course, we’re here to answer your questions any time. Just drop us an email at info@coverageink.com

By now all of the coverages have been sent back, but if you haven’t seen yours, please check your spam folder and if you still can’t find it, just email us.
