Get Repped Now Consider: Meet Michelle Farhang

Our third consider for 2025 comes from writer Michelle Farhang, whose quirky YA coming-of-age dramedy JOON tickled our reader’s fancy and impressed the CI management team.

Michelle is an aspiring screenwriter drawn to exploring the human experience — and all the existential questions that come with it — through comedic, character-driven stories. Her eclectic experiences include running multi-million dollar ad campaigns, mediating restraining orders, and writing and performing sketch comedy throughout New York City before recently making the move to Los Angeles.

Her feature JOON explores gender and cultural identity in a fictional ’90s-era Iran. Inspired by the stories she heard from her Iranian family growing up, she was motivated to write the story following the “Women, Life, Freedom” protests in Iran in recent years.
