Congrats to CI reader DEREK STUCKERT for being selected for the Imagine Impact 2 program! Spearheaded by Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, the program received 4,000 submissions from 57 countries.
Imagine Impact works like a fellowship in that it pays creators to come aboard and develop television series ideas, all under the tutelage of a sage industry mentor.
“This past year was challenging for me,” said Stuckert, “but I kept reading, kept writing, and doing coverage for CI of course! I told myself that after the new year I was going to put my projects out there for everything and anything– and this was a better result than I could have ever hoped for. Being able to work with the team at Imagine is an amazing opportunity, and I can’t wait to see where it goes.”
Of course, Derek may not be available to do any coverage for awhile… sorry, folks! Now go kick some serious ass, Derek. We expect greatness. No pressure.
